Jason D. Hegg founded J. Hegg Law and strives to maintain a professional and personal relationship with clients. He practices in the areas of domestic law, criminal law, and civil litigation, advocating passionately for his clients at every stage. Jason graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked for Toyota Technical Center, USA as a body design engineer for nearly ten years before beginning law school. Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law with his certificate of trial practice from the Geoffrey Feiger Trial Practice Institute. His academic achievements include the Charles H. King Scholar program, Best Advocate in the MSU All-School Trial Competition, Jurisprudence Awards in Trial Advocacy, and competing in international ABA Client Counseling competitions. Before founding J. Hegg Law, Jason interned for the Hon. M.S. Krieger in the Federal District of Colorado and also worked as a summer associate at Honigman Miller Schwartz & Cohn in Michigan.

Janelle Mason Mikac dedicates her practice to the protection of consumer rights and civil rights and liberties. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science from The Pennsylvania State University. Janelle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she was in the top 12% of her class. During law school, she worked as a legal research assistant for a professor and interned with the general counsel of a development-stage biopharmaceutical company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While in law school, Janelle also served on the executive board of Nova Law Review as Managing Technical Editor and was a merit scholarship recipient. Prior to joining J. Hegg Law, Janelle worked as an associate attorney for a consumer law firm in Alexandria, Virginia where she devoted her practice exclusively to the protection of consumer rights under state and federal law. She has experience litigating both individual and class action lawsuits and has been approved as class counsel for numerous class action cases.

Lee E. Britt has over 20 years of experience as a litigation attorney in the Onslow County and surrounding court systems. His vast knowledge and experience in the courtroom place him among a select few who can successfully navigate both family and criminal law equally as well. Lee hails from a line of well-respected attorneys and judges throughout the State of North Carolina. He attended North Carolina State University for his undergraduate degree. Lee attended the prestigious Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama where he received his juris doctor. Lee moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1995 and has spent the past 20 years crafting his courtroom litigation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients. His expansive career has encompassed an internship with the North Carolina Court of Appeals, volunteering at the Legal Aid of North Carolina-Raleigh, and employment with the Department of Social Services before he finally settled into the private sector. At J. Hegg Law, Lee focuses his practice on domestic, criminal, and traffic law.
